That's "speakeasy" as in "illegal joint that serves swill to drunkard poets" rather than "trendy bar that serves cocktails to bankers, PR bunnies, and hipsters.")

This may be the greatest example of American pop culture commentary since the days before Tom Wolfe decided to surrender his vast gifts in the service old fogeyness and unabridged solipsism.

The phrase "PR bunny" also begs for some etymology.
